We are pleased to offer instructional float trips down one of BC's most scenic rivers.
If you love stillwater flyfishing and want the thrill of another adventure, how about
trying your hand at rowing the river in a pontoon boat, shooting the
rapids and portaging a waterfalls.

Learn how to read the flow, avoid the sweepers and hydraulics.
Learn about river entomology and the flyfishing techniques for finding fish. For one of the most scenic floats try the
Stellako river in the fall with all its brilliant colors, follow the eagles down the river,
view the final destination of the sockeye salmon and the rainbows that target them.

What to Bring
Waders, wading belt, felt soled wading boots, layered clothing
(spare clothes in case ya dunk it), hat,
sunglasses and rain jacket. Lifejacket, camera
and any personnel effects. A 5-6wt 9' flyrod, floating and sink tip fly lines,
4 - 8 lb. leader/tippet material. Rod/reel case to protect the rod.
A valid fishing licence and classified waters licence is required.
How to get there
The Stellako river is an easy two hours drive west of Prince George on the Yellowhead Hwy 16.
Turn off two kilometers past the community of Fraser Lake and head up the Francois Lake East Road to the head of the river.
Rates
$350 per person.
Includes pontoon boat, dry bag, flies, instruction and lunch. Trip will take approximately 8hrs.
